Shaping how people understand influence
Plor Kestud was built by educators who realized traditional teaching methods couldn't keep pace with how advertising shapes modern decision-making. We started with a question: how do you teach persuasion without overwhelming complexity?
What drives our approach
Advertising techniques aren't abstract theory. They're patterns that repeat across every platform, every campaign, every message trying to capture attention. We break those patterns into recognizable pieces so learners can identify them in real time.
Our instructors work directly with students, adjusting pace and depth based on how quickly concepts click. Some learners thrive in group discussions where examples pile up quickly. Others need focused one-on-one time to dissect a single campaign until the mechanics become obvious.
Flexibility matters because advertising literacy isn't one-size-fits-all. A designer analyzes visuals differently than a copywriter, and someone entering marketing needs different context than a journalist learning to spot manipulation. We adapt sessions to match those distinctions without losing conceptual rigor.
How we structure learning experiences
Case-based exploration
Real campaigns become teaching material. Students examine actual advertisements, identifying techniques as they appear in context rather than isolated definitions.
Adaptive session formats
Switch between group workshops and individual coaching. Collaborative sessions build comparative analysis skills while private lessons target specific gaps in understanding.
Instructor interaction
Live feedback loops replace passive watching. Instructors respond to questions immediately, adjusting examples when something doesn't land clearly the first time.
People building this platform
Liivia Tamm
Curriculum Designer
Liivia spent eight years analyzing consumer psychology for advertising agencies before shifting to education. She structures learning paths that mirror how persuasion techniques actually layer in professional campaigns.
Rasmus Oja
Lead Instructor
Rasmus teaches pattern recognition through repetition and variation. His sessions focus on drilling core techniques until students spot them automatically, then introducing edge cases that challenge assumptions.
